Hacia un mundo paralelo en las bandejas Makiritare

‘Makiritare’ es el nombre con el cual han sido conocidos estos indígenas por toda la Guayana desde que acompañaron como bogas al padre Manuel Román durante la expedición fluvial que, en 1744, dio a conocer la existencia del caño Casiquiare, la insólita senda acuática que comunica las cuencas del Orinoco y del Amazonas.
