video-fr | Exploring The Connection Between Land and Language

"Exploring the Connection between Land and Language" on May 22, 2022, was an incredibly inspiring event! It further solidified our fundamental belief in the vital value of biocultural diversity — the inextricable link between land, language, and culture.

Terralingua and 7000 Languages collaborated for this event, two organizations’ that look forward to growing their partnership throughout this Decade of Indigenous Languages and beyond. This event hosted two amazing panelists Jaskwaan Amanda Bedard (Haida) and SX̱EDŦELISIYE Renee J. Sampson (W̱SÁNEĆ) who shared their unique and invaluable insights on the intrinsic connection between land and language.
