The eloquence of sound and word
An animated film based on the story of Vladislav Shapovalov “Singing Healers” was presented today for library readers and college students of the Belgorod State Institute of Arts and Culture. The film is the result of the fruitful work of the creative team. It included: library employee Larisa Vergun, sand animation artist Olga Sukhoverkova, employee of the Belgorod Puppet Theater Oksana Kiyan, library readers Veronika Starkova and Nikolai Gerasimov. A short story about the miraculous healing of a severely wounded fighter Ivan Vasilyevich Poddubny, which was the basis of the work, sounded especially exciting. The participants of the premiere of the film were invited to get acquainted with the collection of works by Vladislav Methodevich, adapted for the blind and visually impaired residents of the region. The guest of the meeting was Nikolai Nikolaevich Grishchenko, a member of the Union of Writers of Russia. His warm recollection of Vladislav Methodievich became an important component of the memory of the outstanding writer, whose life and work
