Vyacheslav Vanuito from the village of Yar-Sale, Yamalskiy district, got the title of “Master of the Folklore Genre of the Nenets people”

Vyacheslav Vanuito from the village of Yar-Sale, Yamalskiy district, got the title of “Master of the Folklore Genre of the Nenets people“.

He is an expert in the field of traditional Nenets culture and an original performer of authentic folklore, a member of the “Ngerm” folklore group. His songs were included in the collection “Lohortadrev Sena Hainaya” (“Let Our Songs Ring Like a Stream“).

In 2018, Vyacheslav Vanuito was awarded a prize in the field of folklore activities of Yamal-Nenets indigenous peoples in the “Family of the Peoples of Yamal” nomination. In 2022, he became a laureate of the III degree in the nominations of “Authentic Folklore” (solo) and “Theatrical Performance” (as part of the “Ngerm” group) at the “Soul of the Tundra” ethnofestival.

Last year, he took 1st place in the “RUSSIAN EVENT AWARDS 2021” (international award in the field of event tourism) with the presentation of the Reindeer Breeder’s Day event.

Vyacheslav Vanuito participates regularly in open events for pupils of the Yamal boarding school named after Vasily Davydov.
