The Scientific Library Hosted the “Big Ethnographic Dictation”

The slogan of the event is “There are many nations, but one country!”

“The Big Ethnographic Dictation” is an educational project that introduces the culture of the peoples living in Russia, and also allows you to assess the general level of ethnocultural literacy. The organizer of the event is the Federal Agency for Nationalities of Russia.

Petrozavodsk State University became one of the venues for the dictation in Petrozavodsk. Everyone could come to the Scientific Library on November 6 and test their knowledge.

The dictation tasks were designed as a test and included 20 questions – a federal part, the same for all participants, 10 questions – a regional part, unique for each subject of the Russian Federation.

Students of PetrSU and teachers of the Department of Baltic-Finnish Philology of the Institute of Philology of PetrSU took part in the event.

The correct answers with historical background will be published on the official website of the event after November 8, where you can also download a certificate of participation in the event.
