The premiere of the play “Nora” will take place during the celebration of the 90th anniversary of the National Theater of Karelia on October 14 and 15.

The birth of a particular performance is a special event for the theater and is always not accidental – that’s why the play “Nora” has been waiting for its time, director, actors for almost eighty years. It has been in the repertoire of the National Theater of Karelia only once to date – in 1944 it was staged by the outstanding director and teacher Nikolai Demidov, who at that time was the artistic director of the Finnish Drama Theater. The title role was played by actress Irja Viitanen.
