The Interregional festival of amateur theaters “TAIDOSUARI – THE ISLAND OF CREATIVITY” was held in the Republic of Karelia on October 13-15

The festival was organized by the Local public organization “Svyatozerskie Korni” with the support of the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives.

17 theater groups from Murmansk, Leningrad, Tver regions, St. Petersburg and the Republic of Karelia presented their amateur productions in national languages.

Performances within the framework of the festival were held in three national districts of the republic – Pryazhinsky, Olonetsky and Kalevalsky. In total, 11 settlements of Karelia were covered by the tour.

The festival program also included master classes and creative laboratories for managers and participants of amateur theater groups at the National Theater of Karelia.
