New Year’s Children’s festival “Peoples of the Urals: together in the New Year!”
On December 15, the Interethnic Library hosted the New Year’s children’s festival “Peoples of the Urals: together in the New Year!”
The Sverdlovsk Regional Interethnic Library hosted the New Year’s children’s festival “Peoples of the Urals: together in the New Year!”, to which children from national cultural associations of the city of Yekaterinburg, children of participants in a Special military operation, children of migrants, as well as our young readers were invited. Some guys came to the party in their national costumes, making the holiday even more vivid and colorful.
There were two workshops for young guests at the festival: children made Christmas tree toys, soft toys with the symbol of the year – a snake. After the master classes, the children were waiting for a New Year’s performance from the Youth Theater Studio “Galerka”. Where, together with Masha and Vitya, the guys went on an exciting journey through the Lukomorye. They were waiting for the incendiary songs of the legendary VIA Wild Guitars, the rescue of the Snow Maiden and a meeting with the musical Koshchei the Immortal, the shocking Baba Yaga, a unique Cat and, as always, the kind Santa Claus.
At the end of the holiday, all the children received sweet gifts.
The festival has already become a good tradition: the International Library annually holds this holiday for children of different nationalities to celebrate the New Year together as one big family.
