Muestra de Cine + Video Indígena – Chile

The 13th Indigenous Film + Video Showcase seeks to promote the value and respect of First Nations, to promote access to audiovisual media and contribute to the dissemination of the realities of the Indigenous peoples of Latin America and the world.

With more than a decade of experience, the showcase is now held on an international scale and garnered the interest of the public, therefore opening the demand for new and diverse audiovisual projects from around the world. As the longest-running showcase of its kind in the country, the festival includes roundtables and year-long exhibitions throughout Chile, from North to South, strengthening this important engagement with our heritage, identity, history and respect for Original Peoples.

This collaborative platform was established to enable the community of the International Decade of Indigenous Languages (IDIL 2022–2032) to share events, activities, and resources. The content published on the platform is the responsibility of registered users and does not commit the Secretariat of the Decade (UNESCO) and/or the Members of the Global Task Force for Making a Decade of Action for Indigenous Languages. Please note that the platform has been inactive since February 2025 and no longer accepts new uploads. While work is underway to provide an updated solution, the Secretariat of IDIL 2022–2032 remains available for any inquiries at: indigenous.languages@unesco.org.
