Interregional reading contest “My life rang with a song among the people”: invitation to participate

The acceptance of applications for the Interregional Readers’ Competition “My life rang with a song among the people” has begun. The competition is held as part of the implementation of the cooperation agreement between the Sverdlovsk Region and the Republic of Tatarstan, in honor of the Tatar poet, anti-fascist, Hero of the Soviet Union Musa Jalil.

The organizers of the competition: the Ministry of Culture of the Sverdlovsk region, the Sverdlovsk Regional Interethnic Library, the Executive Committee of the World Congress of Tatars, Kazan, the National Cultural Complex of the village of Arakayevo.

The purpose and objectives of the Competition: speech development and formation of interest in the artistic word of residents of the Sverdlovsk region and regions of the Russian Federation; promotion, preservation and support of the Tatar language and culture; popularization of Musa Jalil’s creative heritage.

The nominations of the Competition:

“Performance of works by M. Jalil in the Tatar language”;

“Performance of works by M. Jalil in Russian”;

“Performance of works: front-line writers in the Tatar language”;

“Performance of works: writers-veterans in Russian”;

“Collective performance of works: frontline writers”;

“Young Jalilovites”.

Participation in the competition is full–time. The results of the competition will be summed up on February 17, 2024 at the municipal cultural institution “National Cultural Complex of S. Arakayevo” (Sverdlovsk region, Nizhneserginsky district, S. Arakayevo, Molodezhnaya str., 14a).

To participate in the competition, it is necessary to send a completed application in the prescribed form by e-mail by February 7, 2024: salavatarakaevo@mail.ru .

Applications submitted after February 7, 2023 will not be considered.
