Implementation of measures aimed at providing additional social support to persons belonging to the indigenous peoples of the North, Siberia and the Far East of the Russian Federation, studying in Russian educational institutions of higher education under programs that provide for the study of the languages and cultures of these peoples

The list of additional social support measures for students studying in educational institutions of higher education:
Tere-Kholsky kozhuun – payment for travel once a year on the following route: Kunkurtug – Kyzyl – the city where the university is located, which the student is studying;
Mongun-Taiginsky kozhuun – payment for travel once a year on the following route: Mugur-Aksy – Kyzyl;
Todzhinsky kozhuun – Toora-Khem – Kyzyl – the city where the university is located, which is a student.
Reimbursement of expenses to the student is made in the form of compensation in the amount of actually incurred expenses for paying the cost of travel, confirmed by travel documents, but not higher than the cost of travel. An application for the appointment of compensation and supporting documents are submitted by students (authorized persons) to the administration of the above kozhuuns.
Among the indigenous small peoples of Siberia, Tuvans-Todzhans, Khomushka M.R. is studying at Tuva State University. in the direction of training highly qualified personnel 45.06.01 “Linguistics and literary criticism”.

This collaborative platform was established to enable the community of the International Decade of Indigenous Languages (IDIL 2022–2032) to share events, activities, and resources. The content published on the platform is the responsibility of registered users and does not commit the Secretariat of the Decade (UNESCO) and/or the Members of the Global Task Force for Making a Decade of Action for Indigenous Languages. Please note that the platform has been inactive since February 2025 and no longer accepts new uploads. While work is underway to provide an updated solution, the Secretariat of IDIL 2022–2032 remains available for any inquiries at: indigenous.languages@unesco.org.
