Оpening of the Tatar farmstead

In the village of Bolsherechye, Omsk Region, the opening of a Tatar farmstead took place on the territory of the Museum-Reserve “Ancient Sibirskaya”. It was held as part of the regional multinational festival “We Are Together”. The exhibition area includes a house, the decoration of which consists of household items and exhibits that recreate the traditional way of life of the Siberian Tatars.

Guests of the event were able not only to get acquainted with the life and culture of the Tatars, but also tried national dishes – pilaf, shurpa and chak-chak. In front of the entrance to the Tatar courtyard, “friendship tables” were set for everyone who wanted to taste national treats.
