II All-Russian Forum of Finno-Ugric Peoples “Ethnocultural diversity of Russia: modern challenges and development prospects

Representatives of the Committee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and national organizations of the Leningrad region took part in the II All-Russian Forum of Finno-Ugric Peoples “Ethnocultural Diversity of Russia: modern challenges and development prospects”, the business program of which started on Thursday, August 17, in Saransk. The event was attended by 2.5 thousand participants from 51 regions of the country and from Kazakhstan. The grand opening was held at the Mordovian State Musical Theater named after I. M. Yaushev. The delegation from the Leningrad Region consisted of 5 people, it included representatives of the Vodian culture, the Vepsian national culture, the coordinator of the Vepsian Community organization, the Director of the ANO Center for Indigenous Peoples of the Leningrad Region.
