I Foro Iberoamericano de Diversidad e Interculturalidad en las Políticas y Planes de Lectura – I Ibero-American Forum of Politics and reading Plans about Diversity and Interculturality)

The Forum is a space of dialogue, where representatives of Ethnic Communities, Government Agents from the educational area, the Academy, and other actors, such as representatives of the Publishing Industry will talk about the challenges of the recognition and prevalence of languages, oral and writing knowledge from Ethnic Communities in the context of the plans and policies of book and reading.

El Foro es un espacio de diálogo que reúne a representantes de  comunidades étnicas, el gobierno desde el sector educativo, la academia y otros actores como la industria editorial.

El objetivo del foro es contribuir a la reflexión acerca de los retos de los planes y políticas del libro y de lectura desde el sector educativo y cultural a partir de un enfoque intercultural que aporte al reconocimiento y pervivencia cultural. Con el fin de trazar nuevas rutas que propicien el reconocimiento de las lenguas, los saberes orales y escritos generados por las comunidades étnicas y su rol en la construcción de sociedades del conocimiento.

This collaborative platform was established to enable the community of the International Decade of Indigenous Languages (IDIL 2022–2032) to share events, activities, and resources. The content published on the platform is the responsibility of registered users and does not commit the Secretariat of the Decade (UNESCO) and/or the Members of the Global Task Force for Making a Decade of Action for Indigenous Languages. Please note that the platform has been inactive since February 2025 and no longer accepts new uploads. While work is underway to provide an updated solution, the Secretariat of IDIL 2022–2032 remains available for any inquiries at: indigenous.languages@unesco.org.
