A bilingual illustrated history of how Tiger Japaljarri Morris and his people cut a road in order to set up the new community of Nyirrpi in the Tanami Desert of Central Australia in the 1970s. A story of self-determination and resilience told in Warlpiri language to a Warlpiri interviewer, pictured on the cover, and translated into English for wider readership.
