Second Interactive Quechua Workshop at UC Berkeley

In partnership with the Latin American Art and Literature Working Group (UC Berkeley) and members from the greater Bay area, we will host an interactive Quechua language (Runa Simi) workshop. This is the second of its kind to be held on the UC Berkeley campus aiming to expand awareness of the importance of indigenous communities and languages as an active part of the Latin American community.

This beginner’s level Quechua workshop will provide an introduction to Quechua language and Andean culture, with a focus on food. This workshop is open to educators, children, scholars, activists, and enthusiasts (anyone 12 and older is welcome and no previous knowledge of Quechua is necessary.
