Denaakk’e Dedenee – Say it in Denaakk’e

An inter-generational Denaakk’e language learning activity  for children accompanied by a caregiver.  This is the first in a summer series of activities centered around Denaakk’e, or Koyukon Atabaskan.  The activities will take place in the elders’ hall at the Morris Thompson Cultural and Visitors Center, in close proximity to exhibits and the elder’s living room.  Each activity will be led by Doyon Foundation Language Revitalization Program staff and guest teachers.

This collaborative platform was established to enable the community of the International Decade of Indigenous Languages (IDIL 2022–2032) to share events, activities, and resources. The content published on the platform is the responsibility of registered users and does not commit the Secretariat of the Decade (UNESCO) and/or the Members of the Global Task Force for Making a Decade of Action for Indigenous Languages.
